Building safety and trade
The Accord, and duty-free entry.
Pakistan Accord
Covered under the Pakistan Accord on Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry. That means independent fire, electrical, structural and boiler inspection, an active safety committee, worker training and an independent complaints mechanism.
EU GSP+
Pakistan holds GSP+ preferential access to the European Union through the current transition period, giving duty-free entry on knitted garments against tariffed origins such as China and Vietnam.
